Augmented Engineering is authored by the researchers Brett Jones and Rajinder Sodhi at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, working under Professors David Forsyth (computer vision) and Brian Bailey (human computer interaction). We research novel display and interaction techniques that explore new ways of digitally interfacing with everyday objects. Focusing on projector-camera systems, 3D scanning, augmented reality, and tangible interfaces.

Hi,
I just wanted to thank you all for your website. I am a theatrical media designer at Carnegie Mellon University and a lot of the same techniques, theories and technology are being used in theatrical media projection design. In a sense this is almost the future of theater, and as your blog seems to suggest entertainment. It’s great to see the correlation between the two.
Thanks so much for your blog. Definitely gets the ideas turning!
Bryce
I am just starting out on Spatial Augmented reality. Would be kind enough to share the source code for the Spatial Augmented reality toolkit?
